A Part of a Party!

Since we didn’t have enough fun, spend enough time together or lose enough sleep during the actual filming of WEAPON, we decided to get together again the following weekend and watch the film together. Since it seemed like a lot of planning and traveling to watch a ten-minute film and go our separate ways, Don planned some additional activities for us, including re-enactments, post-viewing quiz questions and an opportunity to rewrite and recite some of the more verbally challenging scenes from the film on the fly. There were awards, of course.

Unfortunately, we don’t have video of the whole event, but I thought I’d share with you what happens when you put the non-actors in the spotlight…with no practice and no scripts. If you’ve watched WEAPON, you probably won’t in a million year recognize this as a re-enactment of the scene among the four mail carriers on the street…but that’s what it was meant to be.
